Having studied the mechanics of using ice as a building material for the construction of Sweden's original Ice Hotel, we have already designed and built Spain's first Ice Bar on the hot Iberian coast. A challenging and exciting opportunity to push the boundaries and a great success.

Equally as exciting is the rapidly increasing commercial demand for new ways in which we can considerably reduce the carbon footprint that a structure creates. There are now technologies which will make a huge difference in the efficiency of a building but that will also make a huge difference in the façade design possibilities of how a building is detailed and the rhythm that is created with the fenestrations.
