Koh Samui- Modern Beach Front Villas

_project name: Koh Samui- Modern Villas

_location: Koh Samui, Thailand. Located on a beautiful tropical island, these 2 villas have a privileged location looking out over the Bay of Thailand.

_brief: To create 2 massive beach front villas with a feeling of being clusters of small traditional structures in a tropical garden within the context of a modern climate controlled life.

_considerations: These beach front villas spaces had to take advantage of the incredible views and be climate controlled. The client did not want to be inconvenienced by the traditional Thai buildings where you enter and leave different buildings but wanted that feeling. We connected all the buildings with a glass enclosed corridor that acts as the building spine, with the sea as the view at the end. Around this spine, each individual pavilion is set on ponds in tropical gardens with different heights to maximize the incredible island views.
